Creativity it’s a garden on my mind…

Ana Ventura completed  a Degree in Visual Arts/Painting from Lisbon School of Fine Arts with specialization in engraving techniques, has showcased her creativity globally since 1996. From solo exhibitions in Portugal to group shows, her work explore diverse mediums including illustrated books, screenprints, and personalized sneakers.

Renowned for her detailed art, Ana's work weaves myth and intricate imagery, transforming elements into poetic narratives.

She illustrates for publishers in Italy, Portugal, Belgium and Norway, and collaborates with institutions like Caloust Gulbenkian Foundation and brands such as Converse.

In 2014, She co-founded TILED, a fashion brand inspired by Portuguese tiles.

In 2022, she got the Portuguese National Illustration Award with the book MUDAR, published by Pato Lógico and since 2008 She has been selected for several international Illustration contest such has: Illustrarte (Portugal), Bologna Children Book Fair (Italy), Ilustratie Festival PICTURALE (Belgium), Bienále Ilustrácií Bratislava (Slovakia), Nami Island (Korea).

Since 2024, she has been taking part in artist residencies, developing her artistic practice.

Lives and works between Lisbon and Antwerp.
